Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is known for its history and architecture, but it's also a bustling town. Along with festivals, fairs, musical recitals, galleries, and historical attractions, there are shops, restaurants, and hotels. Conwy Castle was built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287 to Master James of St. George's design. The narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands may have influenced its elongated shape with two barbicans, eight massive towers, and a bow-shaped hall. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates them with annual festivals, events, and fairs, such as the Honey fair, Seed fair, and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events. Conwy is a great base for exploring Snowdonia National Park, unspoiled beaches, and the local scenery. Surf Snowdonia is six miles away and Llechwedd Slate Caverns has Europe's longest zip line.

Spacious accommodation and and games for the children. Peaceful location but definitely need a car. We are a multi generational family and all of us enjoyed our stay. Thank you to our host who set up the tvs for us when we struggled.

The grandchildren loved the games room and play house. Outdoor space was good and enclosed. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. As a bird watcher, looking out of the kitchen window and seeing buzzards and red kites flying over the trees across the road was a bonus. Nice views from the first floor lounge, despite the weather! Would happily stay there again.
