About this property

Idyllically positioned in the heart of the popular coastal town of Llandudno rests this spacious, detached dormer bungalow, Sheraton. Framing spectacular views stretching across the glistening waters of the Irish Sea and the craggy peak of the Great Orme, Sheraton makes an excellent base for a family or group of friends seeking a Welsh adventure. Park up in either of two off-road parking spaces nestled at the foot of this lovely dwelling before unloading your bags and making your way inside your new home-from-home to begin your staycation. Stepping inside, be charmed by the spacious hallway that greets you upon arrival, providing handy storage space to house your beach-going essentials away from the main living areas. A lengthy journey calls for some well-deserved rest, so kick-off your shoes and head for the enticing sitting room to enjoy a family-favourite on the TV, or for a moment of peace away from the excitement, enjoy a solace retreat with a good book in hand in the snug. When stomachs start to rumble, discover the well-equipped kitchen/diner, where you can share a bottle of wine with the designated chef at the elegant breakfast bar as they prepare a range of delectable dishes to be enjoyed at the nearby dining table. In the warmer months, end each day in style with a sociable seat in your private garden, where you can recount the day's adventures with your favourite tipple as the fresh sea air breezes past. As the day draws to a close, retreat indoors and head to one of three well-presented bedrooms to catch your rest. Find two bedrooms nestled on the ground floor - a spacious king size complete with a dressing room and en-suite with walk-in shower, and a super-king size zip/link (which can be a twin on request for a flexible seeking arrangement), alongside a contemporary family bathroom, perfect for those with limited mobility. The final king-size bedroom can be found on the first floor, fitted with an en-suite shower to help avoid those morning queues along with a cosy seating area to enjoy soaking in the views with a steaming cup of coffee ahead of a new day. Pack up your bucket and spade and take advantage of your coastal location by heading to the glorious sands of West Shore Beach, where you can spend lazy afternoons paddling the shores of the Irish Sea or rock-pooling in search of treasures. You'll find a wealth of local amenities nestled on your doorstep, with restaurants, cafes, including a beach cafe serving homemade food just 200 yards away, and traditional pubs in abundance, perfect for fuelling the day's excursions with a hearty breakfast or indulging in a bite to eat at the end of an action-packed day. Savour fresh fish and chips with a stroll along the promenade, with remarkable Victorian buildings to one side and the bustling seaside to the other or count your pennies and head to the slots aboard the pier. Keen putters will have found their haven, with a wealth of fantastic golfing opportunities available, including Conwy Golf Club, hosts to the Curtis Cup 2021, and the North Wales Golf Club and the 18-hole championship Maesdu Golf Club, each one boasting superb views and a fantastic setting for testing out your clubs. Further golfing opportunities can be found in the resort of Rhos on Sea, with two excellent golf clubs offering impressive sea views. With the property located on a convenient bus route, explore the area. Catch the historic cable-hauled tram and journey to the summit of the Great Orme, a craggy limestone headland overlooking the town, or lace up your walking boots and embark on a two-footed adventure via The Great Orme Circular, offering far-reaching views of Liverpool Bay, the Carneddau mountain range and the Isle of Anglesey. Spend the day visiting the market town of Conwy, where you can tour the preserved 13th century fortress of Conwy Castle or test your swing at the well-kept links course at Conwy Caernarvonshire Golf Club, whilst more seaside adventures await in Colwyn Bay. Avid outdoor adventurers will delight with a visit to Snowdonia National Park, home to walking, cycling and hiking routes to suit all abilities, where the climb to the summit of Mount Snowdon and the zip-wire hidden amongst the caverns deep below the rolling landscape are reserved for thrill seekers. For your next Welsh adventure, choose a stay at Sheraton.

Llandudno is a popular tourist destination because of its location between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme, and its two different coastlines. The North Shore, with its wide promenade and imposing crescent of Victorian hotels, and the West Shore, with its miles of sandy shoreline, sand dunes, and superb views towards Anglesey, are both excellent options for beachgoers in this town. However, the best views are from the top of the 679-foot Great Orme, which can be reached via the Great Orme Tramway or an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. Venue Cymru, North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy, and visiting orchestras, boasts a programme that is second to none, and it is located just steps from the promenade in this bustling town. The World Heritage Site town of Conwy is only 5 miles away. Conwy, a true mediaeval gem, is dominated by a magnificent castle and is completely encircled by its remarkably well-preserved town walls. Explore the North Wales coast and its miles of sandy beaches, or head to Snowdonia National Park, where you can go hiking or rock climbing.
