Guests say

Tudor Cottage in Conwy is praised for its excellent location and has a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable double bed. Some guests have suggested that with a few improvements and a touch of refurbishment, the cottage's charm could be enhanced. The property's central position makes it a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area.

Guests have reported issues with cleanliness, such as mould around the back door and a heavily stained lounge carpet. The front door and areas of the property would benefit from a thorough cleaning.

The cottage's location is highly regarded, being central and well-situated for visiting Conwy and nearby attractions. However, parking can be challenging, which slightly detracts from the convenience.

The property offers a comfortable double bed, but guests have noted that some furniture is outdated and a sofa would be a welcome addition. The comfort level could be improved with better quality bedding and additional amenities.

Facilities and maintenance issues have been highlighted, including inadequate kitchenware, a lack of recycling provisions, and various maintenance needs. A user guide for appliances and clearer instructions for recycling would be beneficial.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Parking and low door frames were the worst feature, but everything else was good.

Well equipped kitchen. Good fire. Comfy, if old fashioned chairs. A sofa would be nice. TV doesnt have many of the regular channels I would have expected. No wall socket next to the bedside lamp in the bedroom. The cottage needs a refurb and paintwork could be cleaner.

However a few small changes would make a HUGE difference. (No hot tap working in downstairs loo, shower water pours down drain in yard in full view of kitchen, bucket and a piece of old carpet in the downstairs loo, mould around the back door and behind loo). Saying that, I would book there again, as it was really nice.
