Caner Bach Lodge is highly praised for its stunning location, cosy comfort, and the warm hospitality of the hosts. Guests enjoy the beautiful views, the presence of friendly animals, and the property's proximity to local attractions. While most experiences are positive, a few guests mention concerns with dog behaviour on-site.
The majority of guests describe the lodge as immaculate, cosy, and well-maintained, indicating high standards of cleanliness. One mention of woodlice does not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback.
The lodge is celebrated for its peaceful rural setting with beautiful views and convenient access to local amenities and attractions. Some guests note the challenging access road, but the location's tranquillity and scenery are consistently appreciated.
Guests find the cottage cosy, warm, and inviting, with comfortable beds and a homely atmosphere. There is a single mention of a potentially hazardous step in the bedroom, but overall, comfort levels are rated highly.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the lodge providing necessary amenities and a well-stocked kitchen. However, there are comments about a lack of kitchen utensils and the need for better maintenance regarding the dogs' exercise area.
The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, providing a warm welcome and essentials like bread and milk. Gifts such as apple pie and custard are mentioned, enhancing the guest experience, though such gestures are not guaranteed for every stay.

The owners were available to help in any way, not that we needed anything, everything was there for us. Lots of places to visit in the locality. Top of the list for us was the Royal Mint tour.

The perfect size for a couples trip away! Hosts were super friendly and helpful. A great place to stay if you want to explore lots of places around south wales and not drive out further than an hour. All round 10/10 stay and would definitely recommend.
