Hilltop Lodge in North Wales & Snowdonia offers a serene getaway with breathtaking views, a well-equipped kitchen, and a wood-fired hot tub. Guests appreciate the clean, modern facilities and the secure outdoor space for pets. While the seating comfort and some maintenance issues were noted, the stunning location and overall quality of the lodge make it a highly recommended retreat.
The lodge generally receives high praise for cleanliness, with guests noting it as clean and well-presented. However, a few guests mentioned minor issues such as stained bed sheets and a shower in need of attention, slightly affecting the overall impression.
The location is consistently lauded for its stunning views and peaceful, rural setting. It serves as an excellent base for exploring nearby attractions, with guests frequently mentioning the beauty and tranquillity of the surroundings.
While the lodge's beds and hot tub are commended for comfort, several guests found the living area seating to be uncomfortable. This aspect detracted from the overall comfort of the lodge, suggesting room for improvement.
Facilities like the well-equipped kitchen and hot tub are appreciated, but some guests experienced issues with hot water and heating. Additionally, the lack of comfortable seating and some guests' difficulty with the hot tub's operation indicate that facility maintenance could be enhanced.
Guests mentioned a welcome pack and the provision of local information, indicating thoughtfulness in hospitality. However, as not all guests referenced gifts or special touches, and to maintain reasonable expectations, it's noted that such amenities may vary and are not guaranteed.

We loved everything about our little break. We got the hang of the fire pit easily! Just make sure you follow the instructions in the book and you wonât go wrong. We went to a Texaco petrol station nearby and they had bags of logs and kindling for £4.50 which was useful to know! The property was gated so our dog could have the run of outside and didnât get out. Notes for consideration if youâre staying: - I would say make sure you bring an additional tea towel and bin bags if youâre staying for more than 2 nights. We stayed for 4 nights and got 1 tea towel and 1 bin bag. Maybe if you messaged staff you might get more but we didnât bother and bought our own to make do! - The couch isnât comfortable so again, if youâre intending on spending time in the lodge Iâd suggest taking your own pillows or beanbags to make it a bit comfortable. - We stayed 4 nights and did have enough bath towels, however we used them off the spare bed too. So just make sure if youâre going as a family and for more than 2 nights, maybe consider taking additional towel each - The drive up to the lodge was quite narrow and not really for the weak if you arenât a confident driver! Iâd just say bear that in mind before booking - we were fine but I know some might not be. They arenât negative points as such, just things we would consider next time. However would go back in a heart beat. Really nice lodge and gave us the break we were looking for!

You really do get away from it all and the views are amazing. Cabin was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub was brilliant after a day out and was really easy to light . Really a wonderful place maintained to a high standard. Absolutely recommended!

Just me and my two dogs. Absolutely beautiful modern cottage with a terrace. The Hidden Meadow was so quiet with a lovely long walk around Woodland Walk, next to the cottage. Owners made me feel very welcome. I highly recommend staying here. I certainly will be coming back here as still load places to see nearby. I also recommend visiting the local pub, the goat in. The lovely bar lady, fed my dogs after hiking around Snowdonia â¤ï¸ See you again soon Hidden Meadow âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸
