Guests say

Guests consistently praise 'The Cottage' for its superb views, cleanliness, and prime location for walking and sightseeing. The host, Bronwen, is commended for her hospitality and helpfulness. While most find the property comfortable and well-equipped, a few guests mention the lounge sofa being hard. The garden and wildlife are frequently appreciated, and the property's character and homely feel are highlighted.

Reviews frequently mention the property being 'spotlessly clean', indicating a high standard of cleanliness. The consistent praise suggests that guests are very satisfied with the level of cleanliness during their stay.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful views, peacefulness, and proximity to walking paths, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, and Llangollen. It is described as a perfect base for exploring the area, contributing to a high score.

The majority of guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with a powerful shower and comfortable bed. However, there are comments about an uncomfortable lounge sofa, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property described as well-equipped and having a good heating system. A few DIY comments and a mention of a microwave fault suggest minor issues, but overall, the facilities meet guests' needs.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like homemade cake, milk, and shortbread biscuits. While these gifts enhance the experience, it is noted that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed with every stay.
