The Nest is a bespoke, luxury cabin nestled within the hosts residence grounds, situated on Bishopswood in Prestatyn, North Wales. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, The Nest is the perfect location to enjoy the idyllic countryside and nature whilst still being able to take advantage of the town centre proximity, this desirable abode welcomes couples and families looking to escape to North Wales. A large electric gate will give you access to the elevated parking area from which you can admire those picturesque coastal views. Take the sloping path down to the front of the cabin and step through the bi-fold doors into the open-plan living area. Immediately you will notice the superb attention to detail throughout, with plinth lighting and electric underfloor heating providing a gentle warmth. In the middle of the room stands the quality double sofa bed opposite a wall-mounted Smart TV. The kitchen comes amply-appointed with all the mod cons required for home-cooking, that is when you’re not dining at a fine local restaurant. A soft close function pocket door leads into the bedroom, housing a double bed with luxury Tempur mattress and Smart TV so you can continue your favourite series to bed. Begin your night-time routine in the en-suite shower room, with illuminated demister mirror and walk-in shower unit. To the outside lies a patio area with furniture and barbecue, perfect for enjoying those summer evenings after a day on the beach. Walkers and ramblers will love the famous Offa’s Dyke trail and a multitude of stunning countryside, forest and coastal walks including Gop Hill and Graig Fawr which are just on the doorstep. Golfers can test their swing at St Melyd golf course before refuelling at the Paddock restaurant accessible from Bishopswood. There is also an excellent cycle track which leads to the breathtaking Dyserth Waterfall, a must for any keen cyclist. Prestatyn town centre and train station lie below Bishopswood just a short walk away making it the ideal spot for evening entertainment, boasting a variety of restaurants, bars and retail park. Prestatyn’s Blue Flag sandy beach and promenade is just a further stroll and is ideal for a long walk by the ocean or to sit and soak up the sun. The quaint town of Prestatyn, one of the many well-known coastal destinations along the lovely North Wales coastline, provides four miles of golden sand spread between three fantastic beaches, all of which are perfect for family enjoyment. The town is the ideal starting point for bikers and walkers, and there are designated bike paths that follow the lovely coastline. In addition, there is a Roman bathhouse in the town, as well as the beginning of the 8th-century Offa's Dyke Pathway, and the Clwydian Hill Range is close by. Learn about the stunning Snowdonia National Park, Victorian Llandudno, the Welsh Mountain Zoo, the Conwy, Rhuddlan, and Denbigh Castles, or the magnificent shopping and architecture of old Chester. a wonderful setting for the whole family!

Wow! What an absolutely stunning property in the most beautiful setting! The view was just amazing; it looked like our own secret hideaway in the forest. We were greeted by 4 squirrels, so my girls were really excited! Then even more excited to see that Claire had left them strawberry milkshakes and mini cupcakes!! We loved how cosy it was, made even more so by the underfloor heating and fantastic lighting and the electric log burner. I loved that every detail had been thought of from the nuts to feed the squirrels, the log burner being for show so the kids didn't burn themselves, and the sign and flowers welcoming us. It was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean and tidy on arrival. Everything was provided for us to keep it this way too. There were robes and slippers for us to use in the sauna and a beautiful collection of aromatherapy oils. The sauna was wonderful and much appreciated addition, when we were after a fun, but relaxing holiday. I left there feeling so much better and after a long and stressful half term, it was just what we needed! The girls loved playing the board games, watching TV and most of all being outside feeding the squirrels and exploring the area. Even when it rained, the girls were having the best holiday. Claire was a perfect host. Before the holiday, she emailed to ask if we wanted to know places to visit and explore and where to eat. We definitely took her up on a few of her suggestions and these were fantastic. She asked which flavour milkshakes the girls would like and made sure she had thought of them as well as us. She came to greet us personally at the house and check we had everything we needed and checked back the next day which I thought was really thoughtful of her. We had no problems, but I know she would have sorted them instantly. She even came to say goodbye with a gift for us and the girls. She was the best host I have ever come across. I am so glad we chose the Nest for our family mini break. I couldn't have wished for a more perfect holiday. I highly recommend this place and we are all looking forward to staying again. Definitely 10/10 all round, I can not fault this property or host. Thank you for making our holiday so special.

We had a lovely time it was very peaceful and relaxing ,Claire was very friendly and helpful , slept very well in a lovely comfortable bed looking forward to our next visit

Great communication and information from Claire.The weather was good for late October,so plenty of places to visit. The welcome pack and extras provided by Claire made our stay even better.
