Guests appreciate the friendly staff and the property's convenient location, with easy access to local attractions and great on-site facilities. The accommodation is suitable for short stays, offering comfortable beds and a hot tub. However, some guests noted areas for improvement in cleanliness and maintenance.
Several reviews mention issues with cleanliness, including cobwebs, dust, and uncleaned areas upon arrival. The presence of spiders and webs was a recurring theme, suggesting a need for more thorough cleaning.
The location is generally praised for its convenience and proximity to local attractions such as beaches and restaurants. However, there is no mention of the surrounding environment or noise levels, which prevents a full assessment.
Guests found the beds comfortable and the lodge suitable for their needs, although some mentioned the accommodation could feel cramped with a full occupancy. The lack of a kitchen and storage space was noted.
The on-site facilities like the pool and restaurant are well-received, but the maintenance of the lodge itself, including faulty appliances and lack of utensils, detracts from the experience. The hot tub cleanliness and readiness were inconsistent.
There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as there are no consistent mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate a level of thoughtfulness in the hospitality provided.

We had a fab stay at this property, was enough for what we needed, beds were comfy, hot tub was great , robes and slippers provided , plenty of room for 4 , we had my 92 year old mum , lots of space for the wheelchair , A couple of little spiders but you back onto woodland so not a problem at all, Property could do with a table to put drinks on in living area , and maybe a table n chair or hooks outside for robes , The resort facilities are great, with indoor pool you can use when you want to , just let yourself in with a fob , the food was fab and the staff are lovely very helpful and attentive , there is a buggy that can transport you and your luggage to the lodge, We had a fab few days and would recommend it,
Bethany
Definitely go back again

When we reached our lodge, we were disappointed by the level of cleanliness. There was toothpaste spray on the en suite mirror, hair that had obviously been cleared from the shower and put in the bottom of the bin in the kitchen, without a bin bag, which therefore smelt whenever you opened the bin and meant we had to remove it ourselves. The lodge seemed lovely at first but could definitely have done with a deeper level of clean. There is a lack of storage in the lodges and felt it could do with some drawers or shelves to put things in/on. The menu options were very similar in both the sports bar and the view restaurant, for example if you wanted the 2 course offer in the view, these were the same main menu options in the sports bar. Some other, healthier options would have also been great. There were some good offers mid week in the sports bar but we were really disappointed on the Thursday evening, when we were going to take advantage of the "Thirsty Thursday" offer in the cocktail lounge. We were told this was not on as there was a private function on and none of the other bars could do the offer, not what is expected when it's advertised and a number of people had asked the same. Use of the pool included each day was good, especially for the kids as there wasn't really anything else for them to do on site. Changing facilities are minimal and again, cleanliness not always at the expected level. We stayed for a week but felt a long weekend would have been enough. We felt we could see the potential for the venue but there are definitely some things that could be improved to really elevate it and help it reach it's potential.
