Coedfan is a well-received holiday cottage praised for its cleanliness, peaceful location with stunning views, comfortable furnishings, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the thoughtful welcome packs, though these are subject to availability and not guaranteed. While most experiences are positive, there was an isolated incident regarding maintenance responsiveness.
The majority of guests report the property as spotless and very clean, with only one negative comment about a full hoover and bins, suggesting an overall high standard of cleanliness.
Guests love the peaceful setting and fabulous views, with easy access to Ruthin and local attractions. One negative experience due to wasps does not significantly detract from the overall positive reception of the location.
Reviewers consistently mention the comfort of the beds and the spaciousness of the property, indicating a high level of comfort for guests.
Facilities are generally praised as well-equipped and complete, with a special mention of the games room. However, the issue with wasps and full bins on one occasion suggests room for improvement in maintenance.
Many guests express gratitude for the welcome packs, which include treats like cakes and bubbly. However, as these gifts are not mentioned by all reviewers, it is polite to note that such gestures are at the discretion of the hosts and not guaranteed.

The Beds were so comfortable and the showers were so warm and inviting we loved the view from the kitchen window and there was so much space to move around it was a pity the weather was quite dismal but it didn't spoil our holiday we did manage to go to Llandudno to do some gift shopping and enjoy a walk and we also went into Ruthin and had coffee and a visit to the craft centre there. I would like to say a big thank you to Coleen and Gwyn for providing such a lovely place to stay for a holiday. God bless you. Alison.Stephen& Jennifer.

** Our family just spent a few days at Coedfan, and we loved every single minute! The house itself is beautifully maintained, cozy, and full of charm. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly stood out was the peaceful atmosphere and the breathtaking views of nature all around. Col, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Our family made some incredible memories here, and we can't wait to return. If you're looking for a relaxing escape with loved ones, Coedfan is the perfect spot. We highly recommend it!

We have booked with Sykes before and I like how they keep you well informed every step of the way. I would recommend this large cottage 100%. We had a lovely time at Coedfan, Ruthin, it is a good base to explore North Wales, There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, you can go on countryside walks from the front door, we visited Llangollen and popped on the train to Corwen, 40 minutes away is Chester Zoo, Coedfan is beautiful inside and out from the fully equied kitchen, to the wrap around garden, one of my favourite things was to sit out on the back patio and enjoy the country/hillside views with a cuppa, lovely big rooms, excellent furniture and fittings, with big comfy beds, so very clean and the views are amazing, it was a lovely touch having cakes on arrival and a nespresso machine (with pods provided) plus other essentials, yes we will definitely be returning. We did not want to leave.
