Guests say

Cedar Gardens receives high praise for its warm welcome, comfortable and spacious accommodation, and beautiful gardens. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as welcome baskets and the provision of wood for the burner. The property's balconies and garden room are highlights, offering relaxation amidst tranquil surroundings. While some mention the challenge of stairs for those with mobility issues, the overall sentiment is one of satisfaction and a desire to return.

Reviews consistently mention the property being very clean and well-maintained, with only a single mention of spiders, which is common in countryside settings. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to guests' comfort and enjoyment.

The property is praised for its quiet, tranquil setting with beautiful views and wildlife. Its central location is convenient for exploring North Wales, although some guests found it a bit challenging to find initially. The closure of a nearby pub is noted, but does not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback on location.

Guests find the rooms and beds very comfortable, with multiple spaces to relax, including a large balcony and a quiet room with books. The presence of stairs and split-level design is noted as a potential issue for those with mobility difficulties, but overall, the property provides a high level of comfort.

The property boasts excellent facilities, including well-equipped kitchens, laundry room, and entertainment options like Netflix and garden games. However, there are mentions of damp in bedrooms and issues with balcony flooring, indicating some areas for improvement in maintenance.

Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful welcome packs, fresh flowers, and other generous additions. While these are highly appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches, although common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Two bedrooms had awful damp, one worse than the other, and unusable. The balcony has been altered and the tiled flooring removed and replaced with fibreglass. This got very hot in the sun and burned our feet when walking on it! That never happened with the tiles. The ground floor kitchen has a terrible smell of heating oil still, not as bad a previous visit but still very noticeable. I'm a recovering cancer patient and the friend with me has a few health issues. Had we been made aware of the damp issues before going we would have asked for a refund and not gone. It's such a shame to see the deterioration in the property and I hope that they can get it back to the comfy welcoming property it used to be.

Helpful, friendly manager. Welcome basket - thank you. House and gardens unsuitable for people with mobility problems.

Very clean and well equipped. We had a very enjoyable stay there. One thing to mention is the steps, up to the property, only a couple but quite narrow. Also stairs in the property, few down to the lower floor and a few up to the living area. Could be tricky if you have mobility issues.
