A superb, detached cottage set in the hamlet of Pentre Celyn, located four miles from Ruthin, and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Well-presented and fully renovated with careful attention to detail, this outstanding Ruthin cottage enjoys unspoilt rural views, and is an ideal cottage for a family or group of friends. This delightful cottage near Ruthin has three bedrooms, a king-size master bedroom benefiting from an en-suite shower room, plus one cosy double and a twin, offering guests flexible sleeping arrangements. This lovely Ruthin cottage offers a contemporary open plan living area that features traditional character with high ceilings and exposed oak beams, and the woodburner, along with the underfloor heating, allowing guests to relax in a homely, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Outside is a pretty garden with patio and lawned areas, where the beautiful views can be enjoyed whilst you relax in the luxurious hot tub. From the doorstep of your cottage in Ruthin, there are many wonderful country walks and trails to discover, and for outdoor enthusiasts, Coed Llandegla Forest with its mountain bike centre is less than ten minutes' drive. The picturesque walled city of Chester is within easy driving distance from your cottage near Ruthin, and offers fantastic historic buildings, and a great selection of shops, pubs and restaurants; take a pedal boat or a rowing boat out onto the River Dee, visit the Roman Amphitheatre, or walk the ancient walls. With fantastic access to the Snowdonia National Park, and many beautiful beaches, this cottage near Ruthin provides wonderful accommodation, and is a very special place to stay.
Pentre Celyn is a very pretty, scattered hamlet some 5 miles from Ruthin. Ruthin itself sits on a hilltop, with a variety of attractive half-timbered buildings and interesting shops, as well as Ruthin Gaol, Ruthin Craft Centre and Nant Clwyd House (the oldest timber frame in Wales). Llangollen is to the south, via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass, Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park and Clocaenog Forest, or head to the Snowdonia National Park, the beautiful coastline and historic Chester.
