About this property

Arthur is a delightful, wooden cabin nestled into the outskirts of the town of Cilcain, in the Clwydian Range & Dee Valley National Landscape. With the added bonus of a bubbling hot tub, off-road parking, and countryside views, this property is ideal for a small family utilising the sofa bed, or a couple, looking to explore the countryside of Flintshire. Park up and be welcomed into this beautifully-presented lodge, with a spacious open-plan living area boasting delightful and contemporary furniture throughout. Make the most of the selection of amenities in the kitchen, cooking up a storm, which can be enjoyed at the dining table over a glass of fizz. After a long day of exploring, recline in the sitting area and enjoy a movie marathon. When sleep calls, freshen up in the stylish en-suite shower room, before retiring to the pretty double bedroom, or, for children, there is a sofa bed available. When the sun is shining, make the most of the countryside views by dining alfresco, before enjoying an opulent dip in the hot tub. There is so much to be explored with a stay at Arthur. Note: This property can be booked with refs. 1154332 and 1154340, sleeping a total of six guests.

Cilcain is a delightful country village in a beautiful setting, offering quaint traditional houses, a shop selling many local goods and produce and a 16th century inn, which forms the hub of the community. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village is located 5 miles west of the bustling market town of Mold, which offers a regular market, selection of shops, good pubs and Theatre Clwyd, the National Theatre for Wales. Nearby excellent walking and breathtaking scenery can be enjoyed along the Offa's Dyke path, and the city of Chester is just 16 miles away, with its historic buildings, riverside walks, racecourse and excellent shopping. Cilcain is a wonderful base for touring North Wales.
