If you have the kids with you, spend a day at Greenwood Park (3.5 miles) where you can race on the go-kart track or Gypsywood park (1.5 miles). Alternatively, explore the fascinating Llanberis Slate museum (5.3 miles), which dates back to 1861 and showcases the region’s proud industrial heritage. In the evening, come home to the cottage’s patio garden and enjoy a glass of wine under the starry skies.
