Coed Bolyn Lodge is highly praised for its stunning views, cleanliness, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, comfortable furnishings, and the property's proximity to attractions. The thoughtful touches by the hosts, including a welcome treat, add to the positive experience, although water pressure issues are noted.
The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'spotlessly clean' and well-maintained. One minor mention of crumbs does not significantly detract from the overall impression of an immaculate property.
The location is frequently lauded for its tranquility, stunning views, and convenience for exploring North Wales. It is described as an ideal base for visiting attractions, with easy access to both Snowdonia and the coast.
Guests find the property comfortable, mentioning spacious rooms and comfortable beds. However, a few guests noted issues with water pressure and soft settees, which suggests a slight room for improvement in comfort for some visitors.
The lodge is well-equipped and appreciated by guests, but there are several mentions of low water pressure, which suggests a need for maintenance. No patio area for sitting in the sun is also noted as a drawback by one guest.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through good communication and gestures like returning a left-behind teddy bear. While guests mention welcome treats, it is important to note that such personal touches, though delightful, may vary and are not guaranteed.
Coed Bolyn Lodge is a light and airy holiday cottage in a tranquil and picturesque countryside setting. It has panoramic views across Snowdonia that takes in both mountains and the sea. Inside is welcoming and calming, and sitting outside the cottage with a cuppa whilst soaking up those views will mean you’ll easily recharge your batteries here.

There’s a breakfast bar, electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and toaster. There is also a dining table and chairs for six people.
The seating area consists of a large corner sofa and armchair with a TV, a Blu-ray player, and books and games for your enjoyment. From here French windows open out onto the pretty garden.
Coed Bolyn Lodge has three bedrooms in total. One large double room, another double with a TV and a twin room.
There are two bathrooms, both of which are modern and fully tiled. One has a bath with shower over, loo and wash hand basin. The other has a shower, loo and wash hand basin.

Snowdonia and North Wales generally has so much to offer both those looking for peaceful relaxation and an action-packed break. Golf courses, cycle routes, fishing, attractions, walks and beaches are all within easy driving distance of this happy holiday cottage. Being just ten minutes from the A55, it is easy to get to from the North West. You’re also close to Caernarfon, Bangor, Llanberis, as well as Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula. The whole of North Wales will easily be your playground from Coed Bolyn Lodge!
Llanrug is a small village with two pubs, two shops, a Post Office, a hotel with indoor swimming pool and fitness room, and a 9 hole golf course is nearby. The village is situated in the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountain Range, only 3 miles from famous Llanberis. Dominated by the grandeur of the Snowdon Massif, Llanberis is flanked by two lakes, Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris, and is one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Snowdonia National Park. Llanberis is something of a 'mecca' for walkers and climbers, being the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in Wales. The ascent can be made either by train, on the Snowdonia Mountain Railway, or on foot along one of the many routes to the summit. Llanberis boasts excellent places to eat and drink and a great choice of shopping. Just 4 miles from Llanrug, on the coast, is Caernarfon with its magnificent 13th century castle and town walls and close by are National Trust properties at Penrhyn and Plas Newydd and many wonderful beaches.
