The location is frequently described as ideal for visiting local attractions and enjoying the natural beauty of North Wales. Its peaceful setting is also highlighted, although the remote nature may not suit everyone.
The cottage is generally described as comfortable and cosy, with a few guests noting the beds could be improved. The positive remarks about the peaceful environment and good sleep quality contribute to a high score, with a slight deduction for the mentioned discomfort.

Miss Spencer
Very comfortable and cosy, lovely views of sheep and birds in the garden. The area was tranquil and remote, very easy to relax in. The bed was very comfy, I don't usually sleep well away from my home but I slept very well here. We didn't have a car so there was a lot of walking, but it was very enjoyable. Once you get out to Y Felinheli there are great transport links to various areas around North Wales; we found it easy to get to places like Caernarfon, Holyhead, Llanberis, and Beaumaris. Owners were wonderful hosts and have really made the cottage very welcoming.
Mr E Mordaunt
