Guests say

Ty Coch is a highly praised cottage, celebrated for its stunning views, peacefulness, and privacy. Guests consistently commend the hot tub and the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, such as welcome gifts. The cottage's cosy atmosphere and modern amenities contribute to a magical and romantic experience, despite some minor comments on maintenance and accessibility.

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests noting it as modern and clean. There is a single mention of dustiness, but this appears to be an outlier against the otherwise consistent praise for the property's tidiness.

The location is described as exceptional, offering tranquillity, stunning views, and a sense of seclusion. It serves as a perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas, with the only minor drawback being the bumpy access road.

Comfort is highly rated, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the bed comfortable. There are some concerns about the size of the property and the proximity of the toilet to the wall, but overall, the comfort level is deemed excellent.

Facilities are generally well-received, especially the hot tub and outdoor seating. However, some guests mention a lack of cutlery and issues with the shower and hot tub heating, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.

The hosts are praised for their thoughtfulness, with several mentions of welcome gifts such as Prosecco and chocolates. While these gestures are appreciated, it is important to note that such gifts are subject to the hosts' discretion and may not be a standard offering for all stays.

It would be very useful to have instructions on the appliances, and any improvements to the potholes leading to the farm would be appreciated but did not detract from the enjoyment of our holiday. A clear indication of the drop down of the step from the bedroom area is a must, which can be quite dangerous, especially if you are carrying something.

The track road in places may be a little bumpy to up to the cottage, but worth it to get to this idyllic location. The cottage itself inside is modern, comfortable and has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. It's a perfect base for trips out, but also ideal to just stay in and enjoy the amenities, serenity, tranquility and the most stunning views this property has to offer. Owen and Lola are great hosts and are there if you need them, but respect your privacy at the same time. We would 100% recommend Ty Coch and are hoping to return soon to this beautiful setting.

Unfortunately, the very good facilities are at the expense of storage space for personal luggage such as clothes and food, which can make longer stays problematic.
