The rooms were spacious with clean white linen on comfortable beds.Located in a nice quite position. On the negative side we found that the kitchen chairs were very wobbly and uncomfortable and so used the dining room instead. Also found that the bay window curtains nearly impossible to draw.It was also a shame that the snooker room was to small to have a decent game of snooker in the dark evenings. The worse thing was the unacceptable state of the pantry window which was covered in black mould and the items in the window it looked liked it had not been cleaned in months, very off putting in an area connected with food.

It is well equipped, comfortable and well maintained. We liked the improvements made to the sitting room with the new floor! The âlook outâ window is popular with the whole family and we love the view of the sea and castle. The selection of books was enjoyed by the children as were the games. Very nice to stay in a house which is loved and well cared for!

The house feels like a home from home and the only downside this year was the weather - the coldest wettest summer.... This is where the seats on the landing come into their own with the wonderful views over the bay to the castle. We read with envy of the people the previous week who had made use of the sun umbrella; we dreamed of eating outside and using the garden room! However we found plenty to do, visiting Bodnant, Plas Newydd and the wonderful Gallery at Llanbedrog, Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw.
