Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog railway, Harlech Castle and the golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.

The cottage had everything we needed. Ideally located for visiting near by places. You can see the sea out of the windowâs, itâs just a short walk to the beach. lovely shops up on the high street, from cafes to fish and chips and ice cream, everything you could want. Thank for the bottle fizz much appreciated.

The beach is a literal minutes walk away and only a few minutes further into the town. I visited during one of the wettest weeks of the year and local flooding in my usual haunts meant that I could not get out as much as I normally would, but the cosy warm surroundings meant staying in wasnt a chore. Already looking at dates I can come back
