This charming beach town is located about 5 miles from Porthmadog and is often referred to as the "Pearl of Wales on the coasts of Snowdonia." Magnificent views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia Mountains may be had from the town's 13th-century castle, which sits atop a rocky outcrop and dominates the landscape. The two beaches are great for water activities, while the nearby Snowdonia National Park is a paradise for hikers and cyclists. Take a stroll down the shore and spot some porpoises in the water, or unwind in one of the town's many bars, restaurants, or tea rooms while devouring a serving of Cadwalader's ice cream. Everything you need. The only negative thing was as an elderly couple we had difficulty getting in to bath for a shower needed a rail

We were left a very unexpected but welcome gift. The mattress was a little softer than we are used to, but we still managed to sleep well. The cottage is in an excellent location to reach the beach and also walking distance to the town of Criccieth. We recommend this cottage.
