Ty Bryn - Nefyn is a well-loved, spacious cottage with a large garden, situated in a peaceful rural setting close to the coast. Guests appreciate the property's extensive grounds, proximity to coastal paths and beaches, and the stunning sea views. The upstairs living room is a highlight, offering a relaxing space with good views and a library of books. While some guests mention issues with heating and a musty smell upon arrival, the overall sentiment is that the cottage is a charming and welcoming place for a holiday in North Wales.
Reviews indicate a range of experiences with cleanliness. Some guests found the property to be very clean, while others reported issues with mustiness, mould, and a lack of deep cleaning. The presence of dead insects and stained linen in some reviews suggests room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, proximity to the coastal path, and beautiful views. Guests enjoy the rural setting and the convenience of nearby amenities, such as a village shop and a quality restaurant. The scenic surroundings contribute to a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the property warm and welcoming, with extra blankets and hot water bottles adding to the cosiness. However, some discomfort is noted due to a musty smell, dampness, and issues with heating regulation. The upstairs living room is frequently mentioned as a cosy retreat.
The cottage is well-equipped for cooking and dining, with a well-stocked kitchen and large dining area. However, guests have reported maintenance issues such as problems with heating, non-functional sockets, and a lack of logs for the wood burner. The garden's openness and heating system complexity are also noted.
