While some updates are suggested, the property's charm and the owners' responsiveness to feedback are consistently noted.
The property is frequently described as clean and tidy, with several guests highlighting its immaculate condition. However, a few minor issues like a broken kettle lid and hard limescale were mentioned.
The location is highly praised for being close to amenities, the beach, and local attractions. The quiet neighbourhood and proximity to Porthmadog are seen as significant advantages.
Guests find the property comfortable overall, but some have noted that the shower is small and the mattresses could be more comfortable. The lack of privacy in front-facing bedrooms has also been mentioned.
While the property is equipped with necessary facilities, guests have suggested updates and improvements. The lack of a dishwasher and modern TV equipment, as well as safety concerns with the shower and steps, have been pointed out.

It was warm and welcoming and well maintained with everything we needed for our stay. If we were to be pressed hard for anything that we found not to our liking it would be the beds only because we are tall and found them quite small for us. Also the back gate is hard to close and doesnât stay shut during the day when we were out - but this is being hypercritical! It is a lovely place and we would always consider returning as love the area and visit whenever we can. Please thank the owners for providing such a lovely place to stay.

Good location, although further from the beach than we realised, 2 mile drive and then £8.00 to park the car on the beach. Borth y gest lovely but beach not accessable for the disabled. Would recommend this bungalow , ideal in every way. Thank you to owners for making this a lovely bungalow.
Deborah
The bungalow has everything you need and is dog friendly and you can see the love and care put into this home ,there was a couple of welcome bags with tea, coffee and washing pods etc and a lovely welcoming note from the owners , there are gates on the drive this year which is a great idea and extra security and is a short walk away from blackrock sands which was ideal for our dog . We literally cannot fault this place and we have already booked again for next year and can't wait to come back
