From Porthmadog you can take a fun trip on the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways running along 14-miles of stunning rural countryside and forests on a vintage narrow gauge steam train. Visit the Maritime Museum for local history lovers, or make some new friends at Black Rock Llamas, taking them on a lovely trek in the scenic Welsh countryside setting. Walkers can discover the Rhyd Ddu footpath taking you up Snowden just under 15-miles away, offering easy access to the fantastic Snowdonia National Park.
