The Old Cornhill is romantic retreat and a great base for exploring offering it offers stunning views across the harbour of Porthmadog. Within a level 5-10 minute walk to the Porthmadog Steam Railway. The Heritage Railway to Caenarfon is also not far away.
Boasting a combination of quirky and retro inside, this holiday apartment is in a wonderful location to retreat to after a day of exploring this bustling coastal town and surrounding area. An open-plan living area can be found at the heart of the dwelling; spacious and bright with its white walls, it’s a lovely spot to spend your evenings with your loved one. Also within the living area you can find plush sofas accompanied by a TV with a bluetooth speaker, there’s no better way to prepare your favourite meals in the kitchen than with all your classic songs playing in the background. Prepare a romantic real to be enjoyed at the breakfast bar before retreating to the bedroom for some rest. The low-level double bed can be found along the hallway, home to fitted wardrobes with ample storage space, you won’t have to worry about packing too much. A short stroll takes you to shops, galleries, restaurants, bars, making the local area perfect for those wanting to be at the centre of the action. If you’re feeling active, take a longer walk along the Cob, with its glorious wildlife and flora and fauna which leads down to the sea, making an ideal spot for a day of sun-soaking at the beach. Jump on the narrow gauge steam train to discover more of the hidden gems of Wales, or take a trip to the picturesque and world famous Italianate village of Portmeirion to experience true wonder of CloughWilliams-Ellis' vision. In reach of Snowdonia, the Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey, the property is positioned perfectly for walks, attractions, cycle routes, Golfers can enjoy Porthmadog, Royal St Davids in Harlech and Aberdovey(can be accessed by train) and activities galore. Known as the gateway to Snowdonia National Park you'll be sure to be surrounded by ample outdoor activities. In reach of Portmerion, Black Rock Sands, and The Lleyn Peninsula, Porthmadog makes the perfect base for exploring the wonders of North Wales and beyond.
