Angharad, named after Llywelyn the Greats' fourth daughter, is a luxury glamping retreat nestled beautifully next to a lake in Gwynedd, just a stone's throw away from the coastal town of Pwllheli and many places to eat. With a cosy double bed, fully equipped kitchen and en-suite, this home-from-home is a great adult base for exploring all that the area has to offer. Dolphin, porpoise, whale and bird watching, as well as sea-fishing are just some of the excellent activities you can book nearby.
Beautifully hand-crafted and filled with thoughtful features, Angharad is a cosy bolthole perfect for a romantic getaway, or makes a restful retreat for a solo traveller. This is a poacher's hut, with double doors opening onto the lovely lakeside and mountain view. Inside, the well appointed kitchen includes an oven, double hob, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster and Belfast sink, and, of course, hot water. Guests are treated to complimentary eco-friendly fairtrade tea, coffee, hot chocolate and sugar. Tucked in the corner is a wood burning stove for those cosy evenings in, and there is a table and chairs should you wish to eat inside. The en-suite provides to a shower, flushing WC, heated towel rail and basin, and complementary eco-toiletries. Outside is the perfect place to spend an evening watching the light fade and stars appear. There is a cosy firepit, which doubles as a BBQ, and some outdoor furniture overlooking the lake.
