Guests say

Glan Y Don Bach is a well-loved cottage praised for its superb location with stunning views and proximity to Abersoch's amenities. Guests appreciate the clean, comfortable accommodation and the bonus of on-site parking. While some guests mention the need for maintenance and a deep clean, the majority reflect on a pleasant stay with modern facilities and a cosy atmosphere.

Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the cottage spotless, while others noted areas in need of a deep clean and maintenance. The overall impression suggests room for improvement, but the property is generally kept in a satisfactory condition.

The location consistently receives high praise for its stunning sea views, proximity to the beach, shops, and restaurants, and the convenience of on-site parking. It is described as quiet yet central, ideal for enjoying Abersoch and the surrounding area.

Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with adequate space and storage. However, some guests mention issues with stiff locks, narrow stairs, and dated high chairs, suggesting that comfort could be enhanced for a more universally pleasant experience.

Facilities are generally appreciated, with the property described as well-equipped. Nonetheless, there are several mentions of the need for maintenance and updates, including issues with a damp bedroom, dated furniture, and a poor shower, indicating that the facilities could benefit from attention.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the property owners towards the guests. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Everything is to hand. This is our second year at this “half”of the property and we have already booked the other half for next year. This must prove our feelings for Glam Y Don Bach. The change is purely on the grounds of size.only.

It was very comfortable and clean, with excellent views over the bay. It has a fantastic location, minutes from the amenities of Abersoch and its wonderful beaches. There are plenty of eateries around a minute or two from the doorstep. The harbour town of Abersoch affords an easy drive to Caernarfon and surrounding towns. Snowdonia and the mountains are an easy drive as is the wonderful Italianate town of Portmerion. Will we be back…. Absolutely! We have visited before and will certainly be back.
