Awel Y Mor is a well-received cottage in Pwllheli, praised for its cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, and thoughtful touches like welcome gifts. While the steep staircase and traffic noise were noted, guests enjoyed the property's proximity to the beach and town. The cottage's comfort and cleanliness made for a pleasant stay, with many expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently noted the property's spotless condition, with many highlighting the thoroughness of the cleaning, especially in light of Covid-19 precautions. The cleanliness contributed significantly to guests' overall satisfaction.
The cottage's location is highly regarded for its proximity to the beach, marina, and local shops. However, some guests mentioned traffic noise as a downside. The convenience of the location for exploring North Wales was frequently appreciated.
The property is generally considered comfortable, with cosy seating and comfortable beds. However, the steep staircase and occasional low ceilings were mentioned as potential issues for some guests, particularly those with mobility concerns or taller individuals.
The property is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, which guests found to be a highlight. Some minor issues were raised regarding the ease of use of the TV and the lack of a garden space. Overall, the facilities met guests' needs for a self-catering holiday.
Many guests were delighted by the thoughtful welcome gifts, including Welsh cakes, prosecco, and milk. While these gifts were highly appreciated, it is important to note that such gestures, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The little extra touches made the stay feel like a home away from home . The town with a variety of shops were all within walking distance as was the beach and marina area . Great position to explore the Llyn peninsula . Glad I chose the property and would recommend its rental if in area

Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed except a toilet brush. Great location. Close to the beach and the town. Welcome pack was a great touch with delicious Welsh cakes. Always found a space on the street outside to park. The road is busy and quite noisy but it didnât bother us. Thank you.

Very homely and relaxing. Generous welcome gifts and fresh flowers. It's a great base for shopping and fantastic walks. We had a lovely week and would definitely book again. Easy street parking and the traffic noise was no issue for us personally - we slept great. There are "mind your head" signs on the low staircase beam but one of us still managed to hit our head so be extra careful going up and down the stairs! Lots of good places to eat nearby and the beach is only a few minutes walk. A nice view of the harbour from the upstairs windows. All in all a fantastic holiday experience. My only suggestion would be to have a hairdryer at the property. Don't hesitate to book!
