Encil Gyfrinfa is a spacious and beautifully furnished lodge in a peaceful and scenic location in North Wales. Guests appreciate the clean interiors, stunning views, and the hot tub, despite some issues with its cleanliness. The lack of reliable Wi-Fi and some maintenance concerns were noted, but the lodge's comfort and the serene environment often compensated for these drawbacks.
The lodge generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with guests finding it clean and comfortable. However, some guests reported issues such as dirt under sofa cushions and around the hot tub, which slightly mar the overall impression.
The lodge's location is highly praised for its tranquillity and beautiful views. It is situated on a hilltop, offering stunning vistas of the Llyn Peninsula, and provides easy access to beaches and local attractions.
Guests find the lodge very comfortable, with high-quality furnishings and a spacious layout. The presence of a hot tub adds to the comfort, although some guests experienced issues with its cleanliness.
While the lodge boasts high-standard furnishings and decor, there are several reports of maintenance issues, such as problems with the hot tub and Wi-Fi connectivity. These facilities are important to guests and impacted their satisfaction.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The small village of Llithfaen is one of the highest villages on the Llyn Peninsula, enjoying some of the best views around due to its location on the slopes of the Yr Eifl mountain range. The village boasts its own community-run village shop and local pub, which was established in 1988 and offers a friendly welcome. Llithfaen is very proud of its Welsh heritage with the Welsh Language and Heritage Centre and restaurant located just up the road at Nant Gwrtheyrn, which also has a pebble beach. The pretty coastal town of Nefyn lies 4 miles away, sitting atop sweeping cliffs, and is home to a fine, two-mile stretch of sandy beach, popular with families, along with a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The village is also within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli, Abersoch and Caernarfon. In nearby Porth Dinllaen is the Ty Coch pub, voted 3rd best 'beach bar' in the world in an online feature in June 2013. The coastline around this region is dotted with castles and coves, while fishing, sailing and water sports are all available. The Snowdonia National Park is 25 miles away, with its dramatic scenery and abundance of superb walks. With its proximity to such a wide range of destinations, this area makes a superb base for a break in North Wales.

Google maps was better to find it. On the long road up there were cows and itâs very dangerous as thereâs nothing on one side to stop the car falling. The home was okay but when we opened the sofa bed there was so much dirt under the sofa cushions. Overall the home was nice.

We'll located and so quite and peaceful. The hot tub was great. Lots of outdoor space and parking.

First impressions were amazingâeverything felt very comfortable and straightforward, and we were able to relax right away. We got our stay at a great price compared to previous visits, but honestly, if we'd paid the full amount, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're splitting the bill between at least six people. The cleanliness of the lodge was generally good, except for the ceilings, which had quite a few spiders. The hot tub was more like a bubble bath, and the WiFi was unreliable. One major issue was that someone had clearly been on our balcony while we were out, as there were footprints and gravel left behind, and we wouldn't have been surprised if they used the hot tub. Some parts of the balcony were falling off, and it would've been nice to have a bin with a proper lid. Despite these issues, the location was perfectâvery quiet, with easy access to beaches, walks, and restaurants.
