Guests say

Pen Y Bont is a well-received cottage praised for its prime location in Aberdaron, close to the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped nature of the property. The presence of a games room and off-street parking are notable perks. While some maintenance issues are mentioned, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests rebooking and recommending the cottage.

The cottage is consistently described as clean, with guests noting the property's cleanliness upon arrival. One isolated comment mentioned a damp smell, but this does not seem to be a widespread concern.

The location is highly praised for its convenience to the beach, shops, and local eateries. The ability to walk to nearby attractions is frequently appreciated, making it an exceptional aspect of the property.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy lounge, comfortable beds, and the added bonus of a games room. A few comments suggest room for improvement in certain areas, but overall, the comfort level is high.

The property is well-equipped, with a few guests suggesting updates to certain appliances and mentioning minor maintenance issues. However, the presence of a games room and the provision of a log burner are positively noted.

While guests express gratitude towards the owners for their helpfulness and some mention gifts such as wine, there is not enough consistent detail about thoughtful touches or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed.

The only thing was….there was no hot water! Mr Roberts came round on Saturday, said the plumber had not switched it back on. So, I had a shower - finished - and no hot water! Mr & Mrs Roberts had gone over to Crete or Corfu - and left us with no hot water for a week! However, what with hot water from the kettle - we were fine (ish!). It doesn’t stop us from coming next year!

Cosy lounge and dining area. Spotless and well equipped. Beds are comfortable and warm. We loved the patio area and the pool table was an added extra. Less than one minute to the amazing beach and two fabulous pubs with great food. Bakery, shop, fish and chips all in the village. You can hear the sea and river if you leave the windows open which I loved Loads of parking and enclosed front and back to keep dogs safe. Great communication with owner. We have already rebooked. Highly recommended
