Guests say

Guests appreciate the scenic location, spacious garden, and the property's suitability for large groups, including families and pets. The classic jukebox and hot tub are popular features. The property offers a warm atmosphere with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds, making it a good base for exploring the surrounding area.

Several reviews mention cleanliness issues such as food remnants and unclean utensils, suggesting room for improvement. However, clean beds and towels are noted, indicating that some areas are well-maintained.

The property's location is frequently praised for its scenic views and proximity to local attractions, making it a favourable spot for guests looking to explore South Wales and Pembrokeshire.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property warm, but some mention that the living room can feel crowded and that there are issues with shower temperature control.

The property boasts a well-stocked kitchen, jukebox, and hot tub, but several reviews cite maintenance issues such as broken appliances and the need for TLC, suggesting that the facilities could be better managed.

While some guests were disappointed by the lack of a welcome pack and basic provisions, others appreciated the welcoming touches like tea, coffee, and milk. It should be noted that such gifts are a courtesy and not guaranteed.

The Duke box was loved and saw was the hot tub. A bigger fridge will help for large families staying. An upgrade to the hot tub area will make the place more special with gazebo or shelter over and lights for when it gets darker in the evenings. Overall our stay was lovely and throughly enjoyed by all.

The hot tub being in full view of the roadway meant that it wasn’t used at all and the lack of basic needs wasn’t met at all

The key safe was not where we were told that it would be. It was on a fence post thirty metres away and the number to ring for advice was no longer the current caretaker. No new number was available. The kitchen was well equipped but there were no kitchen scissors. It was good to have two high chairs but since small children are likely to wander under the huge dining table for an adventure, it would have been helpful if the underside of that table did not have wood screws projecting down an inch or so. The stairgates were badly fitted and dangerous. It would have been helpful to know that in the field adjacent to the back garden the neighbours practiced car racing of some sort. .It made the garden an unsafe place to be whilst this was happening. There was no dishcloth or dishwasher tablets and the tea-towels that were provided appeared to be unlaundered. I would not want to try and iron the enormous tablecloth that was on the dining table but it seemed that nobody else wanted to either. It looked most unsightly. I don't mind whether you publish these comments or not. It is more important to rectify the matters.
