When day turns to night, head upstairs to the two inviting bedrooms: choose from a double or a bunk bedroom. A family bathroom rounds off the accommodation. Freshwater East is a wide, sandy bay backed by dunes. Spend your days building sandcastles, sharing picnics, and bathing in the shallow waters. Behind the beach is The Burrows nature reserve, where you’ll find beautiful boardwalks and footpaths to explore. Within the village is a friendly pub, cafe, and shop. Further afield, enjoy a day trip to Pembroke to soak up the history at the Norman castle, enjoy a spot of retail therapy on the colourful high street, or dine in one of the many independent restaurants.
