Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage for its tranquillity, cleanliness, and beautiful location. The property is well-loved for its cosy and homely feel, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. The garden and nearby estuary walks add to the charm, and the friendly neighbours enhance the welcoming atmosphere. The thoughtful touches, such as a welcome basket and flowers, are frequently mentioned and appreciated.

Reviewers frequently mention the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as 'spotless' and 'very clean and tidy', indicating a high level of satisfaction in this area.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and beauty, with easy access to local walks and the estuary. However, one review mentioned it is not ideal for coastal walking, which slightly affects the score.

Comfort is a highlight, with guests finding the cottage cosy, homely, and well-furnished. The presence of a Rayburn stove, comfortable beds, and a spacious interior contribute to the positive feedback.

Facilities are well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen, constant hot water, and Wi-Fi. However, the poor phone signal is noted, and the lack of direct mention of maintenance prevents a perfect score.

The thoughtfulness of the owner is evident in the welcome basket and flowers, which are mentioned in several reviews. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it is noted that such gifts, while delightful, are not guaranteed.

A lovely cottage in a quiet location near a creek of the Cleddau river. We enjoyed a very comfortable week and it had everything you could ask for. Both north and south Pembrokeshire could be explored from Llangwm and we did fantastic coast and clifftop walks in excellent weather. We thoroughly recommend the cottage for its comfort and surroundings.

Coming back to Y Cleddau after long days out walking was like coming back a big 'cwtch'!! A very welcoming, warm & cozy house. Wonderfully furnished, a well equipped kitchen, plenty of hot water (enough even to fill the enormous bath), an amazingly comfortable bed and a gorgeous, secluded cottage garden. I had a great week despite the chilly & wet July weather!
