The popular coastal resort of Tenby is approximately 4 miles away.

The Dwelling Place holiday cottage is part of Manor Farm and is a converted 400 year old cowshed, recently renovated to offer good quality holiday accommodation. Manor Farm is situated in the centre of Lydstep Village and is less than 100 metres from the local pub (Lydstep Tavern) which serves good food and has a sunny beer garden. Adjacent to the farm entrance is the local bus stop with a regular bus service to and from Tenby. Five minutes walk away is the beautiful Lydstep Beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which takes you to Tenby in one direction and Manorbier in the other direction.

At the front of the property is a private courtyard with parking for several cars, behind which there is a large secluded garden with garden seating and views overlooking the rolling countryside to the north of the village.

Lydstep Haven (known in ancient times as Lis Castell) is a village and beach holiday resort in Pembrokeshire, Wales, near Manorbier. The hamlet of Lydstep is separate from Lydstep Haven, lying just to the west of the beach and caravan park resort but the area is generally known as Lydstep Haven. It lies along the A4139 road, west by road from Tenby and Penally and west of Manorbier. It is a notable private holiday resort and has a beach which one can walk down the coast to from Manorbier.In ancient times the Kings of Dyfed and several Welsh saints have been connected with "Lis Castell"; Penally Abbey was located nearby. The Lydstep hamlet contains the ruins of a Bishop's Palace visible from the road. Although called a palace, it is understood to have been the hunting seat of Lord St David in the early 14th century.
