Guests say

Guests have had a delightful stay at The Farmhouse, praising its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and the peaceful rural setting. The property's charm and character, alongside the friendly owners, contribute to a comfortable and memorable holiday experience. Outdoor play areas and proximity to beaches and attractions are highlights for families.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found The Farmhouse clean and tidy, with fresh linen and towels. However, a few mentioned issues with meal worm beetles and lower kitchen cupboards needing a wipe down, which slightly affected the overall impression.

The location is highly appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local beaches, attractions, and shops. The rural setting offers a peaceful retreat, though one review mentioned an unpleasant farm smell outdoors.

Guests enjoyed comfortable beds and ample space, with the property providing a restful environment. Some tall guests noted low doorways in the older part of the building, but overall, the comfort level was high.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-stocked kitchen and play areas for children. Some guests suggested improvements in outdoor dining furniture and mentioned the Wi-Fi being hit or miss, which indicates room for enhancement in facilities and maintenance.

While many guests did not comment on welcome gestures, one review suggested the addition of flowers, milk, and biscuits would be a thoughtful touch after a long journey. It's important to note that such gifts, although appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Easily big enough for all of us, plenty of hot water and well equipped kitchen with plenty of room for our food etc .. well positioned for exploring the area and the sunflower field, Horses, Frisby golf and play areas were a much appreciated bonus ... the Internet was a bit hit and miss but we found much better things to instead, would love to return one day! ..

The cottage was beautifully presented with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage itself was larger than expected, with many rooms which meant it didn’t feel overcrowded with 7 of us staying there. The beds were comfortable as was the sofa in the lounge. We had no problem with water pressure or water temperature. The two bathrooms were great for our la The park and disc golf was a huge hit with the kids and the additional gym space was used daily by the adults. The large garden space was perfect and we made use of the fire pit to toast marshmallows. The cottage was in a great location, only a 10 minute drive to Cardigan for Tesco or Aldi and other local shops. We can recommend a visit to Poppit Sands beach, which again was only a short drive away. We were very sad to leave and would highly recommend this place to others. We can’t wait to come back again.

The firepit and the play area was a massive hit. The accommodation is very rustic with creaking doors and squeaky beds, with horses outside your front door! The kitchen had everything you needed to make a good evening meal, we had an abundance of hot water, and the heating was available when required. The bedding and towels were fresh and clean. We contacted the owner once for some equipment for an outside game, which he arranged for us without issue, and was often seen around the farm doing his farming work, without being intrusive and happy to stop for a chat if you wanted too. The wifi is pretty poor, it was hit or miss depending on your service provider and your own mobile data. Some areas of the house was better than other parts, however it was nice not to glued to our phones all day long. We had a great weekend, and would return again if we are ever in the area again.
