Guests say

Beekeeper's Cottage in Pembroke is a cosy and peaceful retreat, praised for its comfortable furnishings and idyllic location. Guests enjoyed the rural charm, proximity to attractions, and the warm hospitality, including occasional treats like fresh eggs and Welsh cakes. While some noted areas for improvement, the overall experience was positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The cottage received mixed feedback on cleanliness. Some guests found it immaculate, while others noted dust, cobwebs, and a need for deeper cleaning. The variance in experiences suggests room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and central position for exploring Pembrokeshire's attractions. However, some guests noted the narrow access lanes as a minor inconvenience.

Many guests found the cottage comfortable, with a warm bed and cosy atmosphere. Some concerns were raised about the comfort of the mattress and seating arrangements, indicating that while generally comfortable, there are aspects that could be enhanced.

Facilities were generally well-received, with the cottage being well-equipped. However, reports of maintenance issues like broken bathroom fixtures and gaps in flooring suggest a need for attention to detail and repairs.

Guests appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as fresh eggs and Welsh cakes, which added to the charm of their stay. It's important to note that these gifts, while delightful, are offered at the owners' discretion and may not be a consistent feature.

Located in beautiful countryside close to many towns and villages we wanted to visit. The cottage provided most of the amenities etc we needed and we had a wonderful week long stay there with our dog.

The cottage had everything I needed. I stayed with my 3 dogs and it was very cosy and comfortable. The nearby beaches, Freshwater East, Barafundle, Coppet Bay, Saundersfoot, Tenby, Manorbier and Wiseman’s bridge were all fabulous! I loved the location of the cottage, set in private grounds. I liked the open plan downstairs space - it heated up quickly. The bed was very comfortable. I would recommend it and would return if back in the area! Thankyou!
