Guests say

Pinewood is a well-regarded cottage in Saundersfoot, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the property's suitability for dogs. The garden is a highlight, though not fully enclosed. Some minor issues were noted, but overall, guests are eager to return, reflecting a positive experience.

The majority of guests found Pinewood to be extremely clean and well maintained. One review mentioned rubbish left by the bin and a lack of loo rolls, but this seems to be an isolated incident rather than a common trend.

The location is frequently described as wonderful, with easy access to Saundersfoot beach and local attractions. The hill's steepness on the return walk was noted, but the convenience of the location outweighs this for most guests.

Guests consistently mention the comfort of the cottage, highlighting the spaciousness, comfortable beds, and warm atmosphere. The property is considered very relaxing, contributing to an enjoyable stay.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-appointed kitchen and garden. However, some guests noted issues with parking and the garden's security for dogs. Maintenance concerns were minimal, with only a few comments on minor oversights.

While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness based on the available information.

Great place to stay with dogs as it’s only a short walk to the beautiful beach (large dog friendly section of beach to enjoy). Everything great for us with the accommodation apart from the parking which was a bit tricky with a big car on the narrow lane but doable. Fence erected during our stay to help keep dogs safer as the bottom of the garden slopes down towards quite a busy road. Beautiful garden to sit out in after a day exploring this beautiful area.

The garden was amazing for the two dogs, they run round exploring it and loved it. The property had everything you could possible need and was very comfortable. Can’t wait for are next visit.

Unusually, it is much nicer in actuality than the on-line photos make it appear. Fabulous garden, with plenty of space for the dog, and in the sun for almost the entire day. Large parking spot towards the end of a quiet residential lane. The house is spacious, very comfortable and well-appointed (but be sure to read the manual before trying to find the cutlery drawer!). Wifi speed was good, and the TV has an Amazon Fire-stick if you want to watch your streaming channels. The house overlooks the main road from Saundersfoot to Tenby, but traffic noise is unobtrusive, even in the garden, and unnoticeable from inside. It's a ten minute walk down TO the town centre and beaches, but quite a lot longer on the way back - it is a bit of a brute of a hill! (There's a very frequent bus service though, that stops outside the garden gate of the house if you're feeling lazy coming back). Absolutely nothing we could pick fault with, and a very great deal to commend it. We had a very pleasant, comfortable stay in a place that immediately felt like home, and will definitely be revisiting.
