Guests appreciate the comfortable, spacious accommodation and enclosed garden, ideal for dogs. While some minor maintenance issues and confusion over recycling are noted, the property's cleanliness, homely feel, and convenience for local amenities are consistently highlighted, contributing to many enjoyable stays.
The property is generally described as clean and tidy, with specific mentions of spotless bed linen and towels. However, some guests noted areas needing attention, such as windows and kitchen tiles, which slightly affected the overall perception of cleanliness.
The cottage's location is highly praised for its proximity to the town centre, pubs, shops, and the stunning Pembrokeshire coast. Its central yet peaceful setting is considered ideal for exploring the local area and enjoying walks.
Guests find the property comfortable, with mentions of good quality bedding and comfortable sofas. Some guests suggested improvements such as mattress toppers and additional storage, but overall, the comfort level is well-regarded.
Facilities are generally appreciated, especially the well-equipped kitchen and enclosed garden. However, several reviews mention maintenance issues such as problems with the TV reception, oven, and heating control, which suggests room for improvement in this category.

Greenfields is a spacious and comfortable, detached bungalow in a quiet location just a short walking distance from the centre of St Davids, Britain's smallest cathedral city. There are views of the cathedral from the bedroom windows.
As well as its cathedral and the next door ruins of the Bishop’s Palace, St Davids boasts a great range of independent shops and galleries, as well as excellent cafes, pubs and restaurants, all within walking distance.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path can be easily gained at St Non’s, about a half a mile away (approx. 20min walk). A longer walk will take you to either Caerfai beach or Porthclais harbour. The beaches of Whitesands and Abereiddi are not to be missed and Solva, Newgale, Porthgain and Abercastle are also in easy reach.
Boat trips to Ramsey, or one of the other bird islands can be booked locally, along with informative excursions by boat taking in the spectacular coastline of this area.
The city of St Davids is situated on the far south west coast of Wales. Granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II, it is the smallest city in the UK, with its magnificent cathedral dating back to the 12th century and the ruins of the Bishop's Palace, both wonderful buildings to explore. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, St Davids is a delightful place with an array of unique shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs, surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery. Nearby Whitesands Bay is one of the many beautiful beaches in the area, and walkers will delight in the spectacular views from the coastal path which runs around the complete coastline of Pembrokeshire. Local buses will help with your walking plans, so that you can walk several stretches of the path with totally different landscapes and views each day. Dolphin spotting from land or from the many boat trips to local islands are a must, and are also perfect for enjoying the wonderful array of birds in their natural habitat. St Davids is the perfect holiday destination, whether you are looking for a quiet relaxing break, wonderful walking, a round of golf, an exploration of magnificent castles or fun-filled days at Oakwood Theme Park, farm parks and much more.
