A pretty 19th century stone cottage nestled in the village of Cregrina; this is an unusual cottage in that it has two sets of stairs, one takes you to the family bathroom, a master bedroom and a curtained area with twin beds, the other set of stairs is on the other side of the property and takes you to a large twin room with triple aspect windows.
The living room has a small wood burner, great for those cosy evenings in after exploring the countryside. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated in 2019 and there is a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. From here you can also access the back garden which is lawned and backs onto the River Edw, a fabulous place for watching out for the rare sight of a kingisher and listening to the water rolling past the garden. It is an upper Wye tributary, popular for trout fishing. The Fishing Passport for around 5 miles of the Edw, in 4 beats, can be obtained from the Wye and Usk Foundation.
A truly lovely base for walkers, Builth Wells is 7 miles away, Llandrindod Wells is 9 miles away and Hay-on-Wye is 11 miles away, whilst The Brecon Beacons National Park is 25 miles from the property. Shop 7 miles, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

Fenced river at the bottom of the garden.
