One of six properties set into the Welsh hillside on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this delightful farm stay invites outdoor-loving couples and small families for a peaceful getaway. Just 4 miles away from the town of Brecon, you could not be better placed for heading out to explore this fabulous area. And with plenty of attractions nearby, you’ll find plenty to fill your days, including visits to Dan-yr-Ogof Caves, the National Coal Museum and The Brecon Mountain Railway (all within 30 miles). For a more peaceful day out, explore one of the many towns or villages of the national park, including Hay-on-Wye (18 miles), Crickhowell (19 miles), and Abergavenny (24 miles).
This beautiful cottage enjoys stunning views as well as vaulted ceilings that add to its country character. Walk through the small courtyard at the front and step in to be greeted by the social heart of the home – the open-plan living space. Here, unwind in the lounge after long days of walking, basking in the glow of the wood burner as the TV plays your favourite films. When stomachs start to rumble, a well-equipped corner kitchen has all you need to whip up romantic feasts for two or a memorable family meal, to be enjoyed in the scenic diner off to the side of the living space. When day turns to night, a small hallway offers access into a spacious king-size bedroom and a well-appointed shower room that also serves the cosy twin room on the mezzanine level above.
Outside, the space is shared between five other cottages, guests are free to use the shared indoor swimming pool, hot tub, and courtyard with outdoor seating. On warm evenings, peaceful walks around the farm are a great way to round off the day.
