Dinas Mawddwy 4.9 miles. Nant y Garnedd is a marvellous, detached, single-storey hut settled near Mallwyd near Dinas Mawddwy, North Wales. A fantastic base for a family of four or couples, Nant y Garnedd is a unique stay, owing to its fairy-style accommodation, remoteness and outstanding views of southern Eryri's (Snowdonia's) mountains. After parking up in one of the three off-road spaces and soaking up the surroundings, progress inside to be greeted by an open-plan living space, where everything you need for your stay awaits. Make your way over to the kitchen, where you can enjoy rustling up delicious dishes with the range of appliances available, to be enjoyed at the sleek breakfast bar. Why not take dinner out to the private garden in the warmer months, where it can be savoured as an alfresco affair within the sheltered decking? Afterward, continue to the sitting area, where you can enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV, before opening out the corner sofa into a sofa bed to catch your rest. The hut is also home to a charming King bedroom, where you can admire the sights in the mornings before wandering over to the fabulously fitted shower room for an invigorating soak. Completing this quirky hut's facilities is a luxurious, oak barrel hot tub, where you can savour a relaxing dip before or after a busy day of exploring Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.
