Guests that stayed at this property said

The cleanliness of the cottage has received mixed reviews. One guest mentioned it appeared unclean upon arrival, which suggests room for improvement. However, no other reviews have raised this issue, indicating that this may not be a consistent problem.

The location is frequently described as fantastic, with the property being in a quiet area close to the village and local attractions. The beautiful garden and river view are particularly appreciated.

Comfort is generally rated highly, with mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy fireplace. One guest noted the master bed mattress was hard, but this seems to be an isolated opinion.

The owners' thoughtfulness is evident in gestures like providing a Christmas tree. However, as such gestures may vary and are not guaranteed, guests should consider them a bonus rather than an expectation.

Was really disappointed when we arrived as it didn’t look like it had actually been cleaned from the previous families stay. The kitchen was very dirty, I had to clean the kitchen including some of the internal cupboards. One of the blinds in master bedroom didn’t work. The master bed mattress was so hard and uncomfortable. Such a shame as the cottage itself is beautiful and the setting stunning. Just such a shame it was dirty. Not sure if we will return.
