Guests say

Henrhiw Bach is a charming cottage in North Wales, praised for its stunning views, peaceful location, and friendly owners. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy atmosphere, and the authentic rural Welsh experience it offers. While some minor issues with maintenance and amenities were noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The majority of guests found the cottage very clean upon arrival. However, one review mentioned finding used sanitary products and tissues, suggesting a lapse in cleanliness standards for that stay.

The location is highly praised for its amazing views, tranquillity, and proximity to hiking trails and mountain biking. It is considered an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat in Snowdonia.

Guests found the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, especially with the open fire in the living room. Some guests mentioned issues with mattresses and heating, which slightly affected the comfort level.

The cottage is well-equipped according to several guests, but there were reports of maintenance issues such as non-working heaters and a lack of hot water from taps initially. The absence of Wi-Fi and phone signal was noted, though some saw this as a positive.

While guests mentioned receiving a warm welcome and some thoughtful gestures like Welsh cakes on arrival, there is not enough consistent information about gifts to provide a score. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

We had a slightly different accomodation but it was just as lovely and had all the facilities we needed. I didn't get to meet the owners as I kept missing them or hid the dog away so he wouldn't be so loud barking at them. However my partner met them a few times and they were so lovely and welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. It really made us feel at ease. They were extremely dog friendly and the accomodation had the most beautiful views. We would definitely come back and stay again. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay. Next time I'll be sure to say hi. Many thanks Danielle and Andy
