This gorgeous period house with a 400-metre walk to the beach is a peaceful setting for outdoor adventures. There are magnificent coastal views from it’s elevated position in Aberdovey. The pretty village of Aberdovey (0.5 miles) boasts a harbour, eateries, galleries, independent shops, and a golden sandy beach to explore. The town is close to Snowdonia National Park, on the northern edge of the Dyfi Estuary. The Talyllyn Railway – Tywyn Wharf Railway Station is 4.5 miles away, and you can take a steam train into the beautiful South Snowdonia landscape.
Walk up the steps into this beautifully designed, stylishly furnished, three-storey property, full of period charm and contemporary comfort. Downstairs, walk through the tiled hallway to the welcoming lounge with a feature fireplace, Smart TV, inviting sofas, and a window seat with estuary views. The kitchen has all the appliances necessary to make cooking a breeze. The dining table in the lounge/diner is perfectly positioned by the window, so plan holiday activities with an unforgettable view. Doors open onto the deck and garden. On the first floor is a stylish bathroom and two bedrooms, each with a Smart TV – one king and one twin. On the second floor are a king and a double bedroom, each with a Smart TV and an en-suite shower room. Outside, the front garden has seating and decking with a table and chairs. There is a middle terrace and an upper terrace with a BBQ, so take your pick for dining alfresco.
Take your buckets, spades, and water sports gear to the golden sands of Aberdyfi Beach (3 miles) or if hiking is more to your taste, lace up your boots and follow the trail up to Arthog Waterfalls (18.5 miles). Nature enthusiasts will love exploring the beautiful landscapes of RSPB Ynis-hir, less than 20 miles away.
