Awel Deg is a modern open plan holiday home in a grade 2 listed stone barn not far from Dolgellau and Llwyngwril. The two ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor can sleep up to 4 people and a dog.
Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms. 1 king-size, 1 twin (1 bed is zip and link, so can be made up as a king-size on request).
Spacious Hallway. Door and side window to front, exposed oak beams, laminated flooring, underfloor heating. Doors into understairs cupboards. Local wall maps, hooks for coats, and boots stand, stairs up to the living area.
Master Bedroom on ground floor. King-sized bed, two small windows to front, exposed oak beams, wall lights, laminated flooring, underfloor heating. Door into:- En-suite Bathroom with exposed oak beams, extractor fan, panelled bath with handheld shower, low-level W.C., 'Roca' wash hand basin, heated chrome towel rail, laminated flooring.
Twin bedroom. Twin beds (can also be made up as a king-size on request, please let us know in advance of your stay). Two small windows to front, exposed beams, wall lights, laminated flooring. Door into en-suite Shower Room with window to rear, exposed beams, wall lights, tiled walls, shower with tiled floor, wash hand basin, low-level W.C, heated chrome towel rail.
Upstairs to Open plan sitting room/kitchen/dining room. Three windows to the rear with deep sills, five windows to the front with panoramic views of the Mawddach Estuary, exposed white beams and A-frames, radiators, TV (with internet), ceiling spotlights. Sofas' and armchair. Full-length curtains. Bookshelves and games. Local photographic art prints.
Kitchen with white worktops with plenty of room for preparing home-cooked meals. Dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, integral fridge, freezer and 4 ring ceramic electric hob, integral electric fan oven, one and quarter stainless steel sink, extractor fan, laminate flooring.
Dining area with terrific views of the mountains and estuary beyond, glimpses of Barmouth in the distance.
Heating Details: Oil Central heating, radiators. Underfloor heating downstairs, radiators upstairs
Outside
Lawn area to the front, shale parking area with designated parking space, woodland to the rear.
Outside the property, you'll find enclosed off-road parking for 1 car. Additional car parking close by (on the lane opposite or in the car park 250 yards from the cottage).
There are slate steps up to the approach to the front door.
Care with children if the gate is open as the main road runs past.
