An attractive little market town retaining a delightful rural atmosphere and offering a good selection of shops, restaurants, and pubs, as well as local farmers markets. There is an old 17th- century market hall in the town centre and a modern leisure centre with swimming pool nearby. Slight issue, but rectified very quickly on reporting, could not have asked for more. Would certainly recommend.

Owner really nice lady, phoned to check we had settled in, and to answer any questions we had and called round mid week to check everything was ok. It is in an Ideal location for exploring the Snowdonia National Park area, 5 min walk to Bala Lake, which is ideal for water sports, walking or just chilling, also has a lake railway and 5 minutes to the town centre, with pubs, resaurants, takeaways, coop and independent shops. Our only negative was that it is in need of modernisation, but would not put us off returning if we were to return to that area.
