Resting upon Hendre Coed Isaf Caravan Park in Llanaber, Gwynedd, is Gwel Y Mor, a wonderful single-storey lodge. Enjoying far-reaching coastal views across Cardigan Bay and on-site facilities, including a heated swimming pool and a restaurant, whilst benefiting from private parking, an enclosed garden, and an open-plan living space, the lodge welcomes four guests, perfect for families and friends alike. Use the social hub of the property to prepare and enjoy your meals, with the chance to also dine alfresco upon either the elevated balcony or patio area. Cosy up in the sitting room, with a plush corner sofa to lounge upon with both the TV and electric fire in the backdrop. Venture outside and climb the steps to the lawned area, offering the ideal vantage point to take in the sun set, before returning indoors to prepare for sleep in the sleek shower room. Rest your eyes in either the twin or king-size bedrooms, the former completed with an en-suite for extra convenience, before embarking on your adventure-filled itinerary. If you can tear yourself away from the on-site facilities and stunning view, head into Llanaber to stock up on the essentials, before reaching Barmouth and its bustling Pier, Beach, and Panorama Walking trail. Travelling towards Harlech, enjoy tours of Harlech Castle and its grand structure, opt for a self-guided trip through Llanfair Slate Caverns, perfect for all the family, or head to Morfa Harlech National Nature Reserve for a day of hiking, with Gwynedd's coastline as your vista. Well-positioned near Snowdonia National Park, an abundance of walking trails is dotted around the area, including the New Precipice Walk / Llwybr Llanelltyd, and treks up to Rhinog Fawr; be sure to pack your walking boots. All of this, and more, can be experienced at Gwel Y Mor.
Between one of the most magnificent seaside towns on the Welsh coast, Barmouth, and the World Heritage Site of Harlech, all of which are encircled by the unparalleled beauty of the Snowdonia National Park, is the small beach village of Llanaber. The famed St. Mary & St. Bodfan church, which dates to the 13th century, is located in Llanaber, which has a stunning view of Cardigan Bay and the Llyn Peninsula beyond. Wonderful beaches, fishing, golfing, sailing, strolling, cycling, mountain biking, and riding horses are all well-known attractions in this area, which also offers easy access to mountains, steam railways, slate quarries, and a variety of old castles.
