Guests say

Is Y Graig is a well-equipped, cosy cottage with comfortable beds and a great location for exploring Snowdonia. Guests appreciate the property's charm, the open fire, and the picturesque village setting. While some maintenance issues are noted, particularly with the bathrooms, the cottage's overall appeal and the owner's care are evident.

The cottage has received mixed feedback on cleanliness. One guest mentioned an unfortunate incident with a soiled bed, and another noted spiders in the bathroom. However, there are no widespread complaints, suggesting these may be isolated issues.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience, offering easy access to local walks and amenities in the heart of Snowdonia, with on-street parking available.

Guests find the beds very comfortable and the cottage roomy for adults. However, some have mentioned issues with light ingress in one bedroom and a preference for different types of amenities like chopping boards.

The cottage is well-equipped, but several guests have reported maintenance issues with the bathrooms and kitchen appliances. Suggestions for improvements include better water pressure and modernisation.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate the level of thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

The consumables such as toilet paper, hand wash, washing up liquid etc were not sufficient and we ended up buying extra. Some consumables were not available at all which would be generally expected, such as a few pods for the coffee machine, a few washing tablets for the washing machine and a pint of milk in the fridge would have been most welcome to make a hot drink on arrival. On balance the king-size bed was lovely and comfortable and the bedroom nice and dark making it a good night's sleep. The location of the cottage was great providing easy access to lot's of walks and local amenities.

The property suited us extremely well and we would love to return It’s exactly as we expected and our expectations were quite high We had a little trouble with accessing TV stations and generally used I player ( could be operator error) Also couldn’t figure out washing machine to spin -only for waterproofs ( no manual ) Ingresses or light in downstairs bedroom not an issue in late September All in all a very positive experience Owner very accessible and friendly Highly recommend
