Described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia, this town is 5 miles from Porthmadog. The towns castle perches on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering views of Tremadog Bay and Snowdonia. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the beaches, whilst walkers and cyclists are spoilt for choice by the Snowdonia National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling Cadwaladers ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirions gardens, the Ffestiniog railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beaches and golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.

Just spent a week here with my wife mother in law my mom and 6 dogs had a wonderful time owner was on the other end of the phone for anything we needed the views from the house a day garden are outstanding and it's fairly easy to drive to many towns or dog friendly beeches would definitely recommend and revisit

The setting was wonderfully secluded, offering us the perfect opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the serene countryside. The cottage itself was cozy and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was how dog-friendly the property was, with plenty of space for our dogs to roam and explore the surrounding fields. The owners were very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay with our furry companions. However, we did notice a bit of mould in some areas of the cottage, which could have been addressed with a more thorough cleaning. While it didnât significantly impact our enjoyment, a bit more attention to cleanliness would have made the stay even better. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the Welsh countryside. It's a great spot for families and dog lovers alike, and with just a few improvements, it could be truly exceptional
