This is a wonderful, detached farmhouse on the outskirts of the North Wales village of Dyffryn Ardudwy, with distant sea views on one side and majestic mountain views on the other. Beautifully appointed throughout to provide a cosy and comfortable cottage with open stonework and slate floors, this Dyffryn Ardudwy cottage is the perfect place for a family getaway to this beautiful part of the Snowdonia National Park. Along with the wonderful views you can enjoy from this lovely North Wales cottage, there is a farmhouse kitchen with Welsh slate floors, a dining room with an inglenook fireplace and slate floors, and a delightful sitting room. Outside this North Wales cottage there is a large enclosed garden with a patio and a lawned area with furniture so that you can look out to sea whilst enjoying alfresco dining in this wonderful area of Snowdonia. This Dyffryn Ardudwy cottage is ideally situated, a short drive away you will find golden beaches and sand dunes that stretch for miles along this stunning coastline. Also close by is Harlech with its majestic 13th century castle, now a World Heritage Site, and the most impressive of all the castles built in North Wales by Edward I. A little further are the full delights of the Snowdonia National Park, with picturesque walks for hikers of all levels to enjoy. This North Wales cottage offers the perfect location for a wonderful break all year round.
The village of Dyffryn Ardudwy quietly nestles between The Rhinogs, part of the Snowdonia Mountains, and the golden beaches of the North Wales coastline. Boasting its own mild climate due to its unusual positioning, and an exciting array of wildlife and birds including soaring buzzards, this village provides good local shops and a good pub. The small town of Harlech is just 4 miles away, dominated by its majestic 13th Century castle which is a World Heritage Site, and the most impressive of all the castles built in North Wales by Edward I. Popular with golfers due to its famous Royal St. David's course, Harlech also boasts an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants. Nearby Barmouth offers an amazing Panorama Walk with breathtaking views and also a harbour from which you can enjoy a ferry to Fairbourne for a ride on the miniature railway or a boat trip out to sea to try mackerel fishing.
