Miners Cottage receives high praise for its comfort, cleanliness, and location, making it an ideal base for exploring Snowdonia. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy living spaces, and comfortable beds. The welcome goodies are a delightful touch, though their provision is not guaranteed. While some guests mention noise from a nearby quarry and road, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Reviews consistently mention that the cottage is very clean and well-kept, with several guests highlighting the cleanliness as a positive aspect of their stay.
The location is frequently praised for its stunning views and proximity to local attractions and amenities. However, a few guests noted the presence of noise from a nearby quarry and road, which slightly impacted the tranquillity for some.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the living areas cosy, contributing to a restful experience. One review mentioned a cold double bedroom, but this seems to be an isolated issue.
The cottage is described as well-equipped, with a particularly well-appointed kitchen. Some guests suggested improvements such as the addition of a mop and bucket, and a clothes maiden, indicating minor gaps in the maintenance and facilities.
While guests are delighted by the welcome goodies, as they are not mentioned in every review, it is not possible to accurately assess the consistency of this thoughtful gesture. Therefore, it is politely noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

However, the noise from the road in front of the house and the quarry behind the house was a bother. I feel the fact that the quarry is active day and night should have been mentioned in the description. It is not possible to drown out the noise if you have doors or windows open, and I was visiting in June so it was warm. For me this was a big drawback as I value peace and quiet, it's part of why I like to go away.

We would definitely stay here again.
