Penrhyndeudraeth 3.2 miles. Resting in the peaceful village of Tan Y Bwlch near Penrhyndeudraeth in North Wales is this superb, two-bedroom Grade II listed cottage, Mill Cottage. Enjoying a fantastic location within the Snowdonia National Park, an interior which is full of character and original features, as well as being attached to an old water mill which previously provided flour for the Tan y Bwlch Estate. Mill Cottage is the ideal dwelling for couples or a family of four who are looking to explore the rich landscapes of North Wales, with easy access to the mountains and excellent walking trails on offer within the National Park. Arriving at the property, leave your coats and shoes in the hallway before making your way into the well-equipped kitchen to rustle up a delicious meal for your loved ones. The kitchen hosts a handy washing machine so you can freshen up your clothes between activities, along with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, and the all-important kettle and toaster to assist with whipping up your breakfast and morning cup of tea. From here, make your way to the dining room to savour your meals as a family at the dining table; the dining room is home to a delightful dining table, and beautiful character beams and a slate hearth. The renowned, Italianate village of Portmeirion rests just two miles away from the village and is a popular tourist destination for its colourful architecture and filming location for the TV show, The Prisoner. Within easy reach of Penrhyndeudraeth is the harbour town of Porthmadog and the slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Owner very accommodating and makes sure we have all that we need for a very pleasant stay. Cottage is situated in an ideal place for touring North Wales, or thereâs lots of walks and history to explore quite locally.

Everything you need. The garden could do with some love. We were hoping that the fire pit was there as there is one showing in the photo. But we couldn't find one. The road was very busy and noisy.
